Compliance is Mandatory

  • Don’t be at Risk

It’s interesting to find many Bio-med companies that have little knowledge of or even concern about compliance requirements. Compliance should be the #1 concern. If the healthcare facility that you service does any business with the federal government [Medicare/Medicaid] and does not require your compliance you may still be at risk.

  • Hear it from the Expert

In Sept 2023 the Joint Commission Director of Physical Environment Department, Herman McKenzie appeared on a Q&A podcast with Bearded BioMed. Reference the video at 3:00 minutes to here about where to find Joint Commission guidelines and manuals. At about the 6:00 minute mark you’ll hear the Director mention documentation for the requirements.

  • Impact of Non Compliance

The business impact of non-compliance on healthcare facilities and their Biomed service providers can be substantial.

  • Compliance can be Profitable

Compliance is often associated with increased cost of doing business. Mainly because it takes time and resources. A proper CMMS solution should make compliancy simple and near effortless. Does your competitor offer compliant services? Can you charge more for comprehensive & compliant reports?

If your current solution falls short of compliance it’s definitely time to step up your game. Losing in the game of compliance may mean a big lose for you and your company.
